McCarthy speaks out about Denis Leary’s controversial new book.

Does Jenny McCarthy have anything to say about Denis Leary’s new book, Why We Suck: A Feel-Good Guide to Staying Fat, Loud, Lazy and Stupid, where he is said to have cracked jokes about people with autism?

Oh yeah, as Us Magazine reports that the actress spoke out to Access Hollywood on the issue, calling Leary, “Stupid.”

“Whoo! First of all, let me tell you, the autism community has received probably 10,000 emails [saying] Go kill him! Go yell at him.”

Surprisingly, according to McCarthy, it wouldn’t be worth it.

She continued, “[But] it’s so hard to even get up enough juice in me or energy in me to even try to fight someone that is obviously stupid.”

According to newspapers, in his new book, Leary refers to people diagnosed with autism, a brain development disorder impairing communications skills, as being stupid, lazy, or both.
